Our school meals are prepared on site in our kitchen using locally sourced produce where possible, including from our very own school allotment and eggs from our chickens.

We are extremely proud of our meals and the service provided to the children of our school. Having our own kitchen provides our children with opportunities to feedback on their lunch time experiences and also means that the children, supported by the school council, can help devise the menus.

Please find our current menu below.

Each day there is a hot meal provided and dietary requirements are catered for in discussion with parents. Please keep us informed of any changes in your children's dietary requirements so that we can provide the best option for your child and work with you to meet their needs.  The children will also be provided with a dessert, salad choices, bread and a selection of fruit. All school meals meet national nutrition standards. All meet is Red Tractor Assured - Red Tractor is a world leading farm and food assurance scheme that provides traceable, safe food.

Cost: £2.35 per day, £11.75 per week. You can pay on line using your School Money user details.

Children may also decide to bring in a packed lunch each day.

Under fives get free milk until the beginning of the term in which the child turns five.

Free school meals are available to some children according to family income.  It’s important to register for entitlement to free school meals, even if your child has a packed lunch, or is entitled to universal infant FSM – this is so we can receive additional funding (called the Pupil Premium) which we can use to help your child.

Children are entitled to Free School Meals if their parents, carers or guardians receive any of the following:

Income support
Income based job seekers allowance
Income related employment and support allowance
Guarantee pension credit
Child Tax Credit, but not Working Tax Credit, and an annual income lower than the limit set by the Government
Working Tax Credit Run On because you have ceased work or reduced your working hours to less than 16 per week

To find out if your child qualifies for free school meals, please contact the school.
