As a part of your child’s education at Ackworth Howard, we promote personal wellbeing and development through a comprehensive Personal, Social, Health and Economic (PSHE) education programme. PSHE education is the curriculum subject that gives children the knowledge, understanding, attitudes and practical skills to live safe, healthy, productive lives and meet their full potential.

Following on from previous consultation and the continual review of our policy and curriculum, we have recently held an online information evening to explain the rationale, structure and content of our PSHE curriculum, below you will find links to relevant information / documents, including  the PSHE policy for 2024. Please take time to explore the information in the guides below and the PSHE policy.

Please find below the link to the short Parent Consultation survey that we would appreciate completion of after you have seen the PSHE policy and curriculum details.
