Children in school have now completed the NSPCC Speak Out. Stay Safe. Programme. The children have all accessed the assembly/initial workshop which helped them to understand forms of abuse, how to recognise signs of abuse, how to protect themselves and how to get help.
Year 2, Year 5 and Year 6 have also undertaken further workshops during this morning with the help of Buddy, the programme mascot!
The children have been incredibly sensible and listened attentively to the important messages, asking some very thoughtful questions.
