Dear parents/carers,

As I reflect on last week in school, it's hard not to be overwhelmed with pride for the remarkable children we have the privilege of guiding and nurturing. The dedication and enthusiasm they displayed in their various roles and activities last week left a lasting impression on all of us.

On Monday, the Worship Group took the initiative to plan and lead our worship session, centred around the core value of respect. They delivered their message with confidence, and it was pleasing to see the respect they shared resonating with their peers throughout the school.

Tuesday marked World Mental Health Day, with our Wellbeing Ambassadors taking the lead. They reminded us of the essential support systems we have in place to ensure our mental health and wellbeing. It was a poignant reminder of our commitment to nurturing not only academic growth but emotional well-being as well.

Our children’s collaboration with Badsworth School was another highlight. They have begun a journey to become courageous advocates for change. The children identified various injustices close to their hearts, and it was lovely to see their determination to challenge the heart-breaking issue of homelessness. It's a shining example of the bright future that awaits when our children stand up for what's right. We can't wait to follow their journey and see how they, as a united force, make a difference.

A mention is also needed for the many children upholding our school's rules: 'We are Ready,' 'We are Safe,' and 'We are Respectful.' Their dedication reinforces our pride and belief in the character they're building.

In essence, their achievements last week underscore our passion for education and our commitment to their holistic growth in mind, body and spirit.

Thank you for trusting us with the futures of these exceptional young individuals!
