The children are proud today... our Tanzanian friends in Mshikamano Primary School now have school meals. For the last few years our pupils have been communicating how important this is for children and now food at school is compulsory. At our partner school they are providing porridge and have used a donation from our Tanzania fundraising to purchase utensils and equipment.

The Headteacher is very grateful to the Ackworth Howard community and stated:

'The children are very happy and the teachers also.'

'Our government is very grateful especially our Education officer. When he got this information about the gift, he was very grateful and wish you were here so that you can see how great and valuable the support is.'

'Currently, the school is doing very well. Parents and the Government have been touched by your support of the school, especially in building the new classroom.'

'The class has become a sample for upcoming classes and now they are building a new class that has reached the final stages, one by one until one day when you get a chance to visit you will find the whole school has new and modern classes.'

The Headtacher, Mr January, also shared that they are now taking part in competitions against other schools which is wonderful. They recently attended a cross country running event and did very well.
