Year 5 were wonderfully curious and courteous on their trip to the National Coal Mining Museum at the Caphouse Colliery. They enjoyed their realistic journey in the shaft and the knowledgeable guides for our underground tours! We explored mining life through the 1800s up until 1970 and the progression in Mining. We were all fascinated with the rich history right on our door steps!
