We have had a lovely service at St. Cuthbert's this afternoon led by Bishop Tony and Reverend Karen - The Admission of Children to Holy Communion.
The service admitted 10 of our pupils to holy communion so that they can take communion. The children undertook their first communion and this invitation was then extended to staff and parents. Other children chose to have a blessing.
It was wonderful that the children actually wrote their own section to insert into the introduction of the service (called a short preface).
We now look forward to our whole school communion in May.
