It has been great to see so much wonderful sport taking place recently and the sunshine has really helped enable this!
Year 5/6 took part in a mixed rugby festival hosted by Featherstone Rovers. Both teams won games with our school finishing first and second! Excellent teamwork and skills were on display.
Our partnership with Badsworth is strong and afforded an opportunity for girls in Year 5 and 6 to take part in a netball match. The children demonstrated fantastic spirit and enthusiasm.
Everyone has been practising for sports day and in their PE lessons, Year 1 have been working hard on their balancing skills. They have been moving slowly to help maintain balance and landing from jumps with soft knees.
