At 11 o’clock on the 11th November 1918 the guns of the First World War fell silent. Over 100 years later we still look to mark this moment in time and honour armed forces members who have died in the line of duty with reverence, remembrance and respect.
The whole school took part in a moment of silence and Year 5 were excellent role models representing school whilst attending the service at the War memorial in Ackworth. They were respectful and courteous, laying their contributions after the lovely service. Lest we forget.
