We are currently in a period of thankfulness in school as our termly value and this fits perfectly with our Harvest celebrations.

This morning we undertook our Harvest Service via Microsoft Teams Live so that families could also share in our celebrations. Each class shared how they had been learning about the harvest and offered reflections, prayers and even some wonderful art work. It was also an opportunity to share the children's harvest singing and Reverend Paul delivered a harvest reading and offered a blessing.

Last week, some children contributed work to St. Cuthbert's Church also. This was displayed in Church as party of their Harvest Celebrations.

Harvest is a time to come together, celebrate the food grown on the land and share with others who are not so fortunate. Thank you for the food donations that have been sent into school. These will provide help to people in the local area through the Pontefract Foodbank.
