Our Howard’s Arcade Stay and Learn sessions have now been completed, and they have been a real highlight of the term. We were delighted to welcome so many parents and carers into school to work alongside the children, supporting creativity, collaboration and hands-on learning.
Across Years 1–6, pupils embraced the design challenge with real focus and imagination. In Early Years, children designed and built models of Ackworth, choosing buildings from the local community and constructing them using cardboard boxes and simple materials. The finished creations were impressive and showcased thoughtful design and teamwork.
