Ackworth Parish Council has secured funding to deliver a series of art workshops celebrating Ackworth’s Heritage and Community. The project invites residents, families and schools to create artwork inspired by the village’s buildings, history and community spirit, with selected pieces to be publicly displayed.
Our Year 4 pupils were delighted to take part in a two-hour workshop this afternoon led by artist Christine Burdin. Working collaboratively, they created a mosaic inspired by our school logo and building. We look forward to seeing the finished piece and celebrating our place within the wider Ackworth community.
