Over the past week, we’ve loved welcoming parents and carers into school for our Stay and Learn sessions, which have focused on the magic of poetry. It’s been wonderful to see so many families joining us to experience how poetry is explored and enjoyed across the school — from reading and performing poems to creating imaginative verses filled with rhythm and expression.
Children (and parents) have impressed us with their creativity and confidence, experimenting with language features such as onomatopoeia, rhyme, and repetition to bring their ideas to life. These sessions also showcased the joy of learning together, with families sharing smiles and inspiration in every classroom.
A huge thank you to everyone who attended and to those who supported our Scholastic Book Fair — your enthusiasm helps nurture a lifelong love of reading and learning. We’re now looking forward to our Early Years Stay and Learn session on Monday to complete a wonderful series of events! 🌟📖
