This morning, we had a special assembly where we were proudly awarded our double platinum OPAL award by Ana, our OPAL mentor. Our OPAL Outdoor Play and Learning journey was shared, and the children spoke about what they love most about play in school, reflecting on how far we’ve come.
The children agreed that we have the best playtimes! Thank you to everyone who supports and promotes play in our school. The research clearly backs its positive impact on both our children and staff. More importantly, it’s essential for giving children the opportunity to choose and lead their play. Well done to all involved, including the wonderful donations from parents and local businesses.
