Children across school demonstrated their courage and leadership skills with boundless enthusiasm last week. They led worship on Tuesday sharing the work they have completed to improve school for their peers and then also presented to governors in a committee meeting during the afternoon. The children shared their actions, impact and evaluations with confidence and were brilliant!

It was lovely to read comments and prayers by children in the whole school reflection book after the worship where they had commented on how they have been inspired by their peers:

'Thank you for inspiring us and giving us courage.'

'I have been inspired to help the community and the school.'

'Help me be a courageous advocate and let me try to improve the world.'

'Thank you for helping others when they need it.'

Pupil representatives also visited Oakfield Park School on Thursday to take part in a School’s Community Council Meeting to discuss upcoming events and activities.
