Year 3 took part in Wakefield Music Services first ever ‘Big Strum’ today at Wakefield Cathedral where the children had the opportunity to celebrate their ukulele skills.
This event comprised of a workshop/rehearsal in the morning followed by a performance in the afternoon. This was a fabulous opportunity for the children to perform as part of a large ensemble.
The children were fantastic and represented themselves and the school impeccably. They performed alongside a number of schools and also shared a solo piece brilliantly for a crowd of around 500 children and parents!
