To prepare the children for their residential trips to Northumberland in Year 5 and Robinwood in Year 6, Year 4 took part in a Wilderness Camp last week. This one night camp provided the children with the experience of a night away from home with their friends in a familiar setting to prepare them for the later off site experiences.
The camp offered a unique opportunity for an outdoor experience and once sat around the crackling campfire, toasting marshmallows and following a fairy light trail to their safari tents, the children soon forgot where they are!
