During last week, over 80 children in school shared their talents during Howard’s Got Talent for Comic Relief. It was lovely to see the children taking up the challenge, showing courage, resilience and perseverance. A selection of children across the classes also performed in our Howard’s Got Talent for Comic Relief worship on Friday. The children were fantastic and demonstrated the amazing range of skills our children have.

Through the sale of red noses, the school has raised £180 for Comic Relief with an additional £198 raised through the non-uniform day (£99 to Comic Relief and £99 to our Tanzania partner school).

Within the Comic Relief worship, it was explained to the children that Comic Relief makes a difference to the lives of millions of people across the UK and around the world. The money raised goes towards freeing people from poverty by partnering with amazing projects and organisations that work to tackle four of the biggest challenges faced today - Improving Mental Health, A Safe Place for Everyone, A World Where Children Survive and Thrive and Freedom from Fear, Violence and Discrimination. The pandemic has made people’s lives even harder, so the support is as important as ever. Thank you to everyone who contributed.
