As part of a School's Community Council initiative, children have designed and created gift tags that will be attached to small gifts and presented to senior citizens at Ackworth School's Senior Citizens Christmas Tea which takes place on Tuesday 14th December. Ackworth School provides a mini bus service to and from the event with sixth form pupils supporting the catering team and waiting on tables.
Well done to all of the schools of Ackworth for working hard on projects and community events together this year which have directly benefitted our community and hopefully made people smile in difficult times.
